PHILANTHROPY
Texas Spirits is proud to focus its fundraising toward and raise money and awareness for the Austin nonprofit Saint Louise House. Saint Louise House is an organization that provides affordable and supportive housing and resources for women and children experiencing homelessness. Their goal is to help as many families develop long-term stability as they can. We are fortunate to get to interact with this organization through fundraising events, community dinners, and other member-focused volunteering opportunities.

DINE AND DANCE
Starting in 2025, Dine and Dance began as a benefit concert hosted collaboratively by Delta Upsilon and Texas Spirits once a semester. Local bands perform while guests enjoy a potluck dinner contributed by members from both organizations.
BAND JAM
Our largest annual event is Band Jam, a charity concert benefiting the Saint Louise House. Band Jam started in 1995 and has been getting bigger and better every year. Visit our events page to learn more about how to attend our next one!
BAKE A DIFFERENCE
Bake a Difference is Texas Spirits’ weekly fundraiser to raise money for our local philanthropy, St. Louise House. Every Wednesday, members of Texas Spirits bake a variety of goods and desserts to sell to UT students for donation-based prices. Be on the lookout as you’re walking down Speedway or West Mall for delicious treats to benefit our philanthropy!
